Program Area Leader – Recreation

Plan and run recreation activities for children, young people and families, coordinate daily program operations and maintain records. Requires a relevant credential and/or experience, one year of recent related work, and at least 20 hours of relevant coursework for licensed programs. A Class 5 licence with willingness to obtain Class 4, First Aid and Food Safe certificates or willingness to obtain them, and agency screening including a criminal-record check are required. Union membership is required. The posting lists 20 hours weekly, evening programming and Saturdays as required; confirm the exact schedule with the employer.
