Library Technician, Public Services (one-year contract)

Okanagan College is hiring a full-time Library Technician in Vernon on a one-year contract to help run day-to-day public services at the campus Library and Learning Commons. The role covers circulation and borrower services, opens and closes the Library, maintains access to the collection, supports technical services such as processing materials and cataloguing, and helps train student employees. A 2-year Library Technician diploma plus at least 1 year of related library experience is required; the schedule is Monday to Thursday 10:30-6:00 and Friday 9-6 September to April, Monday to Friday 8:30-4:00 May to August. The desired start date is November 9, 2026 and applications close October 25, 2026.
